Hello everyone,

I created a security group to access dedicated environment and I also created two Teams in the Power Platform Admin centre associated with that security group, each Team having different security role.

Firstly, how can I transfer a user from one team to another ?

Secondly, I wanted to create third Team associated with the same SG but I got this error message:

A record that has the attribute values Microsoft Entra ID Object Id for a group, Membership Type already exists. The entity key Microsoft Entra ID ObjectId with MembershipType requires that this set of attributes contains unique values. Select unique values and try again.

So I cannot distribute access levels across security group through Teams after all if SG and membership type are the same and only security role given to the Team is different?

Hi,

firstly it's not recommended to assing Teams directly to the Security groups.

It's better create a Entra ID Security Group dedicated by Teams.

In your case I recommend to do this:

- Create a Entra ID Security Group by each Teams that you have.

- Include these Security groups into the Security group asigned to the environment.

- Configure the teams with this new Entra ID Security Groups.
