Duplicate SharePoint Integration form with multiple datasources

I just learned how to move a SharePoint Integration Form (SPIF) from one list to another. I've successfully followed a couple videos (and blogs) that show how to move a list with a single SharePoint data source.

 

I've not been successful in moving a SPIF that has two data sources (two SharePoint lists on the same site). I've looked around and haven't found any solution(s) online. When I try, all my upload errors say I have a duplicate form.

 

Anyone have a trick to moving a SharePoint Power Apps Form with multiple data sources? (thanks)

    Hi @MrDisco ,

    You can do it "low tech" as per this blog of mine - it refers to a Canvas App, but works just as well between apps of both kinds.

    I get paid to think smartly. This was so simple, I'm embarrased my self. This worked and now I have dozens of other uses for it. As I don't do may STAs, I took your notes and updated them in my "Tiny Book of Winning Code". Thank you for sharing - this was a real help.

     

    1. Duplicate original List at new form location
    2. Open both SharePoint forms apps on separate screens.
    3. Copy/Paste any custom code from the SharePointIntergration OnEdit, OnNew, etc
    4. Adjust the dimensions (particularly the width) of the new location to match the original. (Settings>Display)
    5. Rename the Form of the new SPI to match the  original. This automatically takes care of the built-in SPI functions  OnView, OnEdit, OnNew and OnSave.
    6. Delete the new SPI form. (leave FormScreen)
    7. Select original form and Ctrl-C and Ctrl-V to the new form. Copy/Paste commands did not work.
      1. some position adjustment are necessary.
    8. Connect to additional data sources.
    9. Connect these to the Forms - when asked to remove/update all data cards, say no.
      1. Remove and re-add any people pickers, those do not transfer over.
      2. Upload any embedded images to the new form
    10. Click on and red X and update the data sources and other name issues.
      1. Change the Items of the SPI form now pasted to SharePointIntegration.Selected and it all should work.
