Two Galleries One Image

I have lost patience trying to solve my 'make an image from an SP library, that doesn't have a link in an SP list, appear in a Gallery image control.

I have decided to just make a separate Gallery connected to the image collection.

My question now; the data Gallery (Gallery 1) has a navigation but that lets the User move through their Certs and Quals one at a time. I need the corresponding image Gallery (Gallery 2) to only show the image associated with the Cert/Qual Title in Gallery 1, and every time the User changes the choice in Gallery 1 the image in Gallery 2 also changes to the appropriate image. Is there some Search or Switch function that can achieve this task?

    Hi @Anonymous ,

What is the data source of gallery1 and gallery2? What is relationship between image and left Cert/Qual Title Item? Why not insert the image control into Gallery?

Let's say, the image is stored in SharePoint library, with a common column(Cert/Qual Title) as the list

    LookUp('SharePoint Library', 'Cert/Qual Title'= First(Gallery.AllItems).'Cert/Qual Title').Thumbnail.Large

    Hope this helps.

    I keep trying.

This is what I have in the Image property of the Image control of the Gallery where I want the image displayed.

The HtmlText fld is the actual field displaying the 'CQTitle' (in this case Firefighter I).

The images are in 'UploadedCerts&Quals' or 'CertsQualsDocumentsCollection'.

The result are not what is desired. As written I was not all to see 'AllItems', as was included in your version of the formula. Power Apps only provided 'Selected'.

In a gallery only one 'record' can be selected at a time, so the .Selected property of ECmmbrCQSmryGallery will be returning a record which is not compatible with the function First (which needs to work on a table).

I suspect you need something along the lines of:

    LookUp('UploadedCerts&Quals', Title = ECmmbrCQSmryGallery.Selected.ECMmberCQTitleFld).Thumbnail

This assumes ECMmberCQTitleFld is the name of the field that contains the Title of the Cert within the datasource used as the Items property for ECmmbrCQSmryGallery (I don't think you need to add a text field to the gallery and reference that). This also assumes UploadedCerts&Quals is a document library so Thumbnail (or some variation thereof - I can't recall off the top of my head the thumbnail options/syntax) is a valid option.

    Hi @Anonymous ,

    Please try this code:

    LookUp('UploadedCerts&Quals', Title= Thisitems.'CQTitle').Thumbnail.Large

Title and 'CQTitle' are common field, right?

    Hope this helps.
