Hi Folks,

I want to enable case sharing for cases created by users of the same organisation. For example Client A has two users user1 and user2. User1 has created a case from power apps portal. I want the case to be visible to user2 as well. However users from any other client, say ClientB, should not be able to see these cases.

Can this be achieved in Power Apps portal? If so, is it also possible to setup user hierarchy and control visibility of cases based on that hierarchy. For example User1 is the manager of User2. User1 is able to see his cases and the cases submitted by User2 but user2 can only see his own cases.

Any help on how to achieve this will be appreciated.

Hi @igeek ,

if i got the question right, its a definite yes from me 🙂

Portals give rights to tables via so called -well- table permissions. These table permissions have to be assigned to roles and the logged in user has to have to role in order to gain the table permissions.

That said, you could create a tablepermission in so called accountscope. The accountscope relates the visible tableentries to the parentaccount of the contact.

So, you could create one tablepermission in accoutscope to enable read to incidents for the account and read/write for his own cases for example as well.
