Creating planner graphs in PowerApps

Hello everyone,

I am trying to create a app, using planner's bucket and task method. Each page of my app contains a separate plan id and each of these plan id have multiple buckets with tasks created under them.

At application load I have this formula created.

ClearCollect(Plan1,Planner.ListBucketsV2("ABC").value);

ClearCollect(Plan1Tasks,Planner.ListTasksV2("ABC").value);

I am using Plan1 in gallery named as galleryPlan1 and displaying all the buckets in that plan. Each item of this gallery contains following labels.

Title of task - ThisItem.name

Count not started tasks: CountIf( Plan1Tasks, bucketId =ThisItem.id,percentComplete=0)

Count in progress tasks: CountIf( Plan1Tasks, bucketId =ThisItem.id,percentComplete>0 && percentComplete<100 )

Count completed tasks: CountIf( Plan1Tasks, bucketId =ThisItem.id,percentComplete=100)

All values are getting displayed correctly but now I want to create a small graph using in built powerapps graph chart using the information for Not started, In Progress and completed.

Can someone let me know how can I do that?

Thanks!

    What kind of chart do you want to have?  Bar, Pie, or Line?

    Pie chart should do fine.

    Since you're replying quickly 😁 - what are the names of the controls in your Gallery that hold the three counts? and what is the name of your Gallery?

    Haha, I was just online. But here you go.

    Galleryname - galBucketList

    Title of task - lblTaskTitle

    Not started  - lblNotStarted

    In Progress - lblInProgress

    Completed - lblCompleted

    Very good...Put a Pie Chart on your screen and set the Items property of the Chart to:

    Table(
     {label:"In Progress", Value: Sum(galBucketList.AllItems, Value(lblInProgress.Text)},
     {label:"Not Started", Value: Sum(galBucketList.AllItems, Value(lblNotStarted.Text)},
     {label:"Completed", Value: Sum(galBucketList.AllItems, Value(lblCompleted.Text)}
    )

     Set your Labels property to "label" and the Series property to "Value"...you will have a pie chart for your gallery values.

    I hope this is helpful for you.

    Thanks for the fast response. I think this will showcase the complete total of all in progress, not started and completed for that entire plan not for individual bucket. There was ) bracket missing in each row which I added but still it gives me summarized view for the overall plan.

    Table(
     {label:"In Progress", Value: Sum(galBucketList.AllItems, Value(lblInProgress.Text))},
     {label:"Not Started", Value: Sum(galBucketList.AllItems, Value(lblNotStarted.Text))},
     {label:"Completed", Value: Sum(galBucketList.AllItems, Value(lblCompleted.Text))}
    )

    What I was looking for is adding this piechart inside each tile of the gallery so that it showcases for e.g.

    bucket 1 there are 3 tasks not started, 2 in progress and 1 completed in pie chart format. Then same goes for bucket 2, bucket 3 and so on. Is there a way to do it?

    Sorry about the missing closing paren...I type these things by hand without a formula editor...so, these things happen!

    So what you are saying is you want a Pie Chart in each row of your Gallery?

    If that is the case, then just change the formula to the following:

    Table(
     {label:"In Progress", Value: Value(lblInProgress.Text)},
     {label:"Not Started", Value: Value(lblNotStarted.Text)},
     {label:"Completed", Value: Value(lblCompleted.Text)}
    )

    If not that, then let me know.
