Less than or equal to sharepoint list - calculated column value

Hi everyone,

I'm hoping some kind clever soul can help me as I'm going crazy with a Flow and a SharePoint list!

I have a contract renewal list with a contract renewal date column. I need this list to email people to remind them of the renewal so I've created a calculated column to work out number of days until the renewal is due and I want to use that in a flow.

I've created the flow and used a condition that looks at the calculated column and then added a less than or equal to 14 days and used string('14') as the expression:

The flow runs, but it's not working. I have one that's due in 8 days that I don't receive an email about.... instead I get these:

Since when is 101 days less than or equal to 14?! Can anyone help please and stop me going completely crazy? I'm guessing I may need to change from a string value but I can't quite understand it all!

Thanks! 🙂

    Hi @kchinnock ï¼Œ

    You could use the int function to convert the value of this calculated column to an int value and compare it to the number 14.

    In addition, dates can also be directly compared in flow, you only need to compare the value of the date column with

    startOfDay(addDays(utcNow(),-14)) and startOfDay(addDays(utcNow(),-15)) .

    Best Regards,
    Bof

    Thank you for the reply. I don't think I quite understand....

    So I tried using int(items('Apply_to_each')?['Days_x0020_until_x0020_renewal_x']) but I still have emails with days as - numbers as above 😞

    How would I use the days with dates you mentioned above? Sorry, I'm a bit of a novice! Thank you!
