Hi Team,
We have created and associated various Power Flows to Power Apps screens and buttons. We are noticing that the Power Flow gets deactivated from the Power Apps for unknown reasons which is leading to Power Apps not delivering the desired result (For instance Power Flow for sending emails gets deactivated hence the end user does not receive emails) . So even though there is no technical error in the Power App the desired outcome (For instance , sending emails to the end user) is not achieved.
Could this be happening because of a new version release for Power Apps ?
Thanks
Prabhav B
A new version of Power Apps wouldn't turn off a Power Automate flow. Normally flows are deactivated because they haven't been used for an extended period of time or because one of the connections used has expired and become inactive.
What is an 'extended period of time' for an unused flow to be deactivated? And what makes an connection to expire? How can I see which connection and what the expiration reason is?I have a flow looking for in a gmail account for received mail which is deactivated mysteriously...
The normal reason for a connection to expire is that the password used on the original account has been changed. Since the connections use an OAuth authentication the token is invalidated if the account password has changed. M365 forces password changes every 90 days I think, but that may be adjustable in Azure AD.
