Hello All,

Trying to make an icon only visibile if it meets certain criteria using the Visible function - but appears something is wrong with my syntax - anyone able to help? Not sure what im doing wrong there.

If( LookUp(
 '374 Staged',
 Track = "B211-1",
 Status.Value = "FULL"),
 If( ! IsEmpty(B211INBOUND) && IsEmpty(B211OUTBOUND),
 true,
 ),
 ),
 false
)

All of that has to equal something - are you looking to see if at least one record matches? Something like this will return true or false depending if there is a matching record

!IsBlank( LookUp( '374 Staged', Track = "B211-1" && Status.Value = "FULL" && !IsEmpty(B211INBOUND) && IsEmpty(B211OUTBOUND) ).Track )

Hi - so your snip gets no error but it does not enable the icon to visible

Currently i want it to check if B211-1 has a railcar on it that is "FULL" and if B211INBOUND has a selection but B211OUTBOUND does not - have the icon display ( an alert icon ) - hopefully all that makes sense?

No - you are making a statement that results in a possible Record content (it will find and returnthe first matching record with this criteria - hence testing if what it found is blank or not) - you need a statement that has to be either true or false - the other way is

If( CountRows( Filter( '374 Staged', Track = "B211-1" && Status.Value = "FULL" && !IsEmpty(B211INBOUND) && IsEmpty(B211OUTBOUND) ) >=0 DisplayMode.Edit, DisplayMode.Disabled )

Note you do not have to split the && here - all conditions need to be met before the button is enabled.
