Hey folks,
Been looking aroud Google for a while, and I can't find anything that tells me whether or not the Views from Sharepoint are in any way connected when I hook up that particular list as a Data Source. I'd like to display my list in my custom view from Sharepoint rather than the default view.
Any help is much appreciated.

I think PowerApps cannot display the custom view of SharePoint list so far.
You could post this idea in the PowerApps Ideas forum, so it might be considered for future releases.
