Approval Error: Required field 'assignedTo' contained no valid users in the organization

Hi All.

Im hoping someone can help here please. I'm trying to setup a basic Approval Flow but the Assigned To field will not let me use my business email address which I have set as my primary email address for my Dynamics 365 CE user. If I enter or select the email address Microsoft provided me with it will run. Is there a reason why I cant use my business email within the Assigned To field?

I believe that he approver must be an account in your tenant - is that the case?

Many thanks for the response. My user is setup within our tenant and my business email is showing under the alternate email field too.

Hi Scott,
I created a new test user in our tenant and I was able to set a business email address as the primary email address and this user can now be selected in the Assigned to field and the Flow/Approval works fine. I'm confused why I cant update my primary email address in the tenant though, it will not let me change the default supplied by Microsoft to anything else.
