Hello,

I'm getting this error message, when using the HTTP connector:
"The provided host name 'xxxxxxxxxxxx.xxxx.xxx' could not be resolved."

In browser, I can use the URI.

Here you can find screenshots from my flow:

Are you sure the endpoint is available over the internet and not only over your local network? Power Automate connects from outside of your network, so the endpoint must be reachable from over the internet.

When I try to ping your endpoint, the host can not be found

    Hi @max81 ,

Did you get a resolution ? I am stuck with a similar issue . When I try the endpoint on browser , it returns me the expected JSON. But when I try with Power Automate , I am getting the same error.

This has been a while ago, but as I recall correctly, the endpoint wasn't available over the internet for @max81 (only locally). Maybe this is the case for you too? When accessing the endpoint on a browser that is on the same network as your local endpoint, you will get a result, because the endpoint is locally reachable. But Power Automate connects via the internet so it doesn't have access to your local resources.

    Hi @rikdekoning ,

    Thanks for your reply.

The endpoint is hosted on a server and we have tried on different machines. It returns the JSON on the browser for the users. But we get the above error when we try with Power Automate HTTP action.

Is that an internal server or an external server? Have you tried reaching the endpoint with a browser that is not connected to your (or the server's) local network?

    @rikdekoning ,

The endpoint is hosted on an aws internal server. The endpoint works for the team members on their browsers but does not work outside of the organization

In my case, the endpoint was blocked for some ip ranges.

@max81  , okay so how did you manage to resolve it?

    Hi @max81 ,

Where do we need to unblock/whitelist the IPs? Is it on the Server or on Power Platform Admin Center? This would be really helpful if you can give details on this.

    Thanks in advance.
