Hello,
I dont even know if what I want to do is possible within power automate. I assume it is I would just like to know if its probable before I begin and waste time.
In my workflows I need to create a folder structure for organization. (as everyone already does) I would like to create a folder structure based on my tasks and then auto populate dependent on a template or form filed out.
So it would look like a form or table I fill out. and under my "tasks folder" it would create a "job 13232" folder and within the job folder theres 8 folders for each of the types of files used in the job. "job 13232 excel files" ,"job 13232 pdf files" ,ect. And within each of these folders they are automatically populated based on the forms description. So i in the initial form or excel file I list the job as a "fun" job the excel/pdf/word template for fun jobs appears, if the job is a "lame job" task then the lame job template for all these files would populate.
I can sort of make this work within SharePoint but I cant make files populate or templates change based on initial conditions. For some reason I cant make files populate in one drive. Should I use automate desktop flows or power automate?
I have no idea what I am doing but, this kind of flow would reduce work by 2x and remove the tedious repetitive tasks for every single job we get assigned.
