help to get ComboBox to display default date

I cannot figure out how to set the default value in a combobox if it is a date.

Items for the ComboBox is set to "WeekList"

Weeklist is a table (see below)

I set the DefaultSelectedItems to First(Weeklist) or First(Weeklist.Value)

the result is a number Value

I tried to set the format using Text function

But because its a date field this does not work (?)

Text(First(Weeklist), "mmm dd yyyy") - does not work

Text(First(Weeklist.Value), "mmm dd yyyy") - does not work

Any ideas

Add this to the Items
ForAll(WeekList, { DateValue:Value, DateDisplay:Text(Value, "dd mmm yy") } )
* change the format to suit your needs

This isn't my solution, I found it here via a quick Google search.
