How to locate multiple ui elements on webpage?

I need to check if more than 1 ui element exists on a web page, but PAD only lets you locate one. How do you go about this?

EDIT: So I should say the idea is to check 1 ui element in particular on the webpage, but the element changes the keyword inside it dynamically. I have saved these other keywords as ui elements in PAD. So I need to know how to detect these keywords/ui elements.

Hmm...  Once you have the UI element selected, you can go to the UI Elements toolbar, edit it there, and then edit again to put in variables for things like the name, and that's where your variable would go.

    - but of course you'd need to populate the variable with the appropriate keyword beforehand. How many potential keywords are there?

The other thing is that you can just ... turn off the name / keyword pieces of it, so it looks at that UI element but doesn't care about its keyword. See how above it's using Name & Class ... I could always just uncheck Name and then it won't care if it's named Open or Donkeys, as long as the Class is Equal To.

I feel like the latter might work for you? Or I might be misunderstanding the need.

    Cheers,

    Rhia

Also, you may try a loop or nested IF statements to determine the element(s) that exist.....

Hi @Rhiassuring, do you know how I could do that? I'm not sure how to add the 'Name' to a custom css (as it's not there already). There's 10 keywords.

Hi @ryule I've tried extracting the element's data but it just gives me the keywords themselves?

Hi @ele2  - can you show us a screenshot of your Selector Builder for your UI element? And also be sure to show us everything in the length of it (you may need to scroll up and down).

If you have something that looks like what I've posted above, note that you may need to select the second item to get the right element - my first element is the window, the second element is the actual button - the one I was actually interested in.

@Rhiassuring please see below: (Note the '—' is where the keyword goes. I tried inserting the keyword into attributes and played around with the operators, but nothing works (unless I'm doing it wrong).

I feel like it would be the Agent --- one, and ignore the div / p, but ... it's really hard for me to tell without getting in there and fiddling about myself. I am hoping someone else will be able to jump in and save the day...!

Unfortunately that didn't work either. I might just have to find a workaround for it. Thanks for all the ideas though, I appreciate the help 🙂
