Model Driven- How to change how search in views works?

Hello everyone, 

I have the dataverse search at the top working but all of the views have a search in the top right. Right now this is applying a begins with filter and I would rather it be a more open search if possible. I am struggling to find any documentation outlining how or if this can change.
