    Hi @Anonymous

Are you using the same form to show both edit and detail

Is the Item property of the form control set to the respective row in sql?

What you need to do is create a view of the table used in the edit table and create the detail screen using view.  Here is an example view for my contact table.

    CREATE VIEW [dbo].[ContactVDT]
    AS
     SELECT c.ContactID,
     cl.ClientName AS Client,
     c.LastName,
     c.FirstName,
     s.Salutation,
     c.MiddleName,
     c.Suffix,
     c.FullName,
     c.MailingStreet,
     c.MailingCity,
     c.MailingState,
     c.MailingZip,
     c.MailingCountry,
     c.BusinessPhone,
     c.BusinessFax,
     c.MobilePhone,
     c.ContactEmail,
     c.Title,
     c.CompanyShortName,
     c.CompanyAbbreviation,
     cs.CompanySector,
     ct.ContactType,
     c.Company,
     c.EmailBlast,
     c.DealGPSReport,
     c.LastChange,
     c.rowguid,
     DATEADD(hour,6,c.ModifiedDate) AS ModifiedDate,
    		 c.CreatedBy,
    		 c.LastModifiedBy
     FROM dbo.Contact AS c
     INNER JOIN dbo.Salutation AS s
     ON c.Salutation = s.SalutationID
     INNER JOIN dbo.CompanySector AS cs
     ON c.CompanySector = cs.CompanySectorID
     INNER JOIN dbo.ContactType AS ct
     ON c.ContactType = ct.ContactTypeID
     INNER JOIN dbo.Client AS cl
     ON c.Client = cl.ClientID
    GO
