Sorting Combo Box Items Alphabetically (with Distinct)

Hi,

I have a ComboBox with the below Items Property:

Sort(Distinct('PSMC Cover Pods',Name.DisplayName), "Name.DisplayName")

I get no error but it also doesn't work (ie the items are still not in alphabetical order). It keeps showing then in ID order. Name is a Person type column in the SharePoint List. Can anyone help?

To sort a ComboBox items list alphabetically by a Person type column, you need to use the Value property from the Distinct function, and then sort by that property. Try this:

Sort( Distinct('PSMC Cover Pods', Name.DisplayName), Value )

Thanks @Rusk . What would I do if I also wanted to filter the items by the Name columns' corresponding Pod ID? IE only show me names where the Pod ID is "Pod 1"? The Pod ID is:

LookUp('PSMC Cover Pods', Name.DisplayName= User().FullName, Title)
