Gallery Filters

Hi everyone. I was hoping someone could help me out. I am currently using a Gallery that is linked to two Dataverse tables: one named 'Request' and the other 'Users'. I am trying to have the Gallery filtered by 3 items from 'Requests' and one item from 'Users'. Honestly, I'm not sure if that is possible. Below is the code I'm using:

Filter(
Requests,
StartsWith(
'Employee/Candidate Name (new_name)',
'Search Bar'.Text
) || StartsWith(
'Job Code',
'Search Bar'.Text
) || StartsWith(
'Job Title',
'Search Bar'.Text
)
); Filter(Users,'Full Name', varUser.FullName)

My issue is that the semicolon brings up an error saying "Expected operator. We expect an operator such as "+, *, or & at this point in the formula"". I've tried using & and &&, but then the entire formula comes up with an error saying a Boolean was expected. Would I be able to use these two tables on one Gallery? I wanted to note that I created "varUser" under the main App OnSelect to capture the Full Name and Email of the user who currently signs on to use the app. I also wanted to note that using just the 'Request' table filters works perfectly fine, my issue starts with the semicolon and wanting to use 'Users' as well. Any help would be appreciated, thank you!

    Hi,

    Is there any relation between the two tables? if so do this:

    Filter(
    Requests,
    StartsWith(
    'Employee/Candidate Name (new_name)',
    'Search Bar'.Text
    ) || StartsWith(
    'Job Code',
    'Search Bar'.Text
    ) || StartsWith(
    'Job Title',
    'Search Bar'.Text
    ),

    ColumnName.'Full Name' = varUser.FullName
    )

    No, they are not related unfortunately.

    As you don't have any relation I don't see any way to filter the Requests, maybe you should use the 'Created By' or something like it or creating a new lookup column to make it possible to filter.

    After some thinking, I was able to create a column in my Dataverse 'Requests' table that would automatically capture user. I was successfully able to use the formula you gave me. Thank you so much!
