Hi,
I am trying to use Power Apps to collect some additional data for our users.
My Data model:
TestClient: TestClientId, FirstName, LastName, and CheckInTime. This data comes from a source system. We want to collect additional data using Power Apps because the source application cannot be modified (shared app between multiple tenants and not all tenants want this so vendor won't change it).
TEstClientDetail: This the information we want to collect, Car information of the client checking in. Basically CarMake, CarModel, CarColor, and CarLicensePlate. It is related to TestClientId and has TestclientId as a Foreign Key to TestClient table.
I have built a Search screen where users can search for a client using Id, Last Name, or simply see all users in a Gallery. This piece works. If there is a record in Client Detail that is shown as well in the detail form or else I show an empty new form so users can enter the data. They can enter all data except the TestClientID (because it comes from parent) I populate this in detail form using the Text property and based on selected record in the gallery.
When I enter new data for clients that doesn't have a detail and submit the detail form I keep getting "Network Error when using Patch record was not found". I know the record won't be there and expect to insert the record. What do I need to fix this? How do I find what is the real error? I am providing all required and not required data in the detail form.
What other info is required to understand this problem better? Screenshots, formulars?
Thanks,
