Sharepoint Automation - Adding Filter for Column before today.

Hi,

I have modified a flow that looked for the "Modified" column in my library and filtered to anything older than a year.

I have replaced this with more accurate manual "Last Review" and "Review Due" columns. The Review due is a in-built sharepoint automation to add 365 days.

I have attempted to replace Modified with Review Due and its suddenly saying it is invalid: ""The expression \"Review Due le'2024-05-13'\" is not valid.

Under filter I have: Review Due le'fx"

fx: formatDateTime(addDays(utcNow(), -1) 'yyyy-MM-dd')

I have attempted to changed the format to dd-MM-yyyy. I have tried to encompass the column name with [], '', and "" in case it's not reading full column name. I have changed just the column name back to Modified and it works straight away.

Thanks

    Hi @LiamO1,

OData filtering/Filter Query fields in SharePoint use the internal names of fields. Normally internal names of fields don't have a space character.

So, it is very likely that you are using the displayName of your Review Due field. My guess is that your internal name is ReviewDue instead.

You can double check this in many ways, @ekarim2020 has a great blog on how to find that internal name: https://elliskarim.com/2021/12/20/finding-the-internal-name-of-a-sharepoint-column/

    Hi @Expiscornovus,

    Thank you for your help.

I have tried that and am now getting the error: Column 'ReviewDue' does not exist. It may have been deleted by another user

    Hi @LiamO1,

Try method 1, find the internal name of your Review Due column, in the column settings.

The steps are in the blog I shared in my previous reply.

    Hi @Expiscornovus

    Thank you.

I got the true error now. The automation could not run off a Calculated Sharepoint column. I have changed it to the Last Review and just done it to 1 year.

    All sorted, thanks.
