Finding the selected item from dropdown list

Hello All,

 

I am new with Powerapps.

I am creating an app where I created an item as "input" and "Dropdown".

I added values to show as drop down list.

Now I want to reflect values in other labels based on the selected item from this dropdown list.

but I am not finding the way it is giving me error with all formulas.

I don't have "control" item in my menu, don't if it is due to license or version.

    What do you have on the items of the Dropdown?

    You can try any of these on the Default of the Textbox;

    Dropdown1.Selected.Value

     

    Dropdown1.SelectedText.Value

     

    Dropdown1.Selected.Result

    Hi,

     

    Is this possible to do for current item in the list using ThisItem.__(datacardvalue.Selected.value)__ ?

     

    It gives me error by doing this. My datacard selection is in different page. However, I need to get that value for current item.

     

    Hope it make sense.
