Navigating between containers

Hi there,

I am trying to navigate between containers when a button on the inventory gallery is selected.

My tabs are galleries within containers.

Tabs are setup as a collection like so:

OnSelect of gallery tabs: Select (Parent)

Now I need to be able to navigate between them when editing records but I cant get the syntax to work. The ones I have tried so far:

Does nothing probably because...

Add Container's visible property -

What would be my IF/OR logic? Could I use SWITCH for this? Never done that before.

If(varTabSelected=1,varInventoryTabSelected=2,
 If(Gallery3.Selected.Icon1,varInventoryTabSelected=2,false))

Im either over thinking this or under thinking it. Please help.

    @kpechal150

Can you explain what should happen when the user clicks on the Add button at the top?

Please explain it in detail how it aligns with the container so that I can advise you accordingly.

    Cheers!

The Gallery 3 icon OnSelect property should open this Add/Edit tab, with the selected items InventoryID populating in the Inventory ID field. This is not set up as a powerapps edit form. I had so many fields and needed more flexibility working with them all. This page will be formatted to either populate all the selected items fields from SQL for editing, or, if no InventoryID a new record could be created.

But for now, I just need the Add Container to open when the edit button is selected.

But I'm certain the issue is with the Visible property of the Add Container:

    If(varTabSelected=1,varInventoryTabSelected=2,false)

I will continue working with it. Please let me know if you have any other ideas I could try or need more info. Thank you.

I was definitely overthinking it. Just needed to change my set variable OnSelect.

added: Set(varInventoryTabSelected,2) which tells the button to select the Add/Edit container tab which is listed as ID 2.

    Face palm.
