Blank Edit form in dropdown list

I have a very basic list with 4 columns Member (Title field), Site (drop down list) , Start date, end date

used to schedule members at sites

i am using PowerApps to configure the SharePoint form. i changed the Title field to a dropdown list (member) and when i create a new item it does file back and update SharePoint. However, when i go to edit the item, with the edit form, the dropdown is blank.

maybe its how i built the dropdown for the title field? (maybe you cant change the title field to a dropdown?) (added screenshots)

1. Have you used a Dropdown control or Combo Box?
2. Could you please recheck or share the "Default" property of DataCard and DataCardValue, Also the "Update" property of DataCard?

hello Sam, its a dropdown,
Default is set to ThisItem.Title, but just checked the default for the actual dropdown control and it was empty,
so i changed it to Parent.Default and now it seems to be working (added screenshot)
