Shopping Order within power Pages

Hello everyone,

I am currently working on an easy form to submit an order.

Fields are Object, Price, Amount and Total.

Total is a formula column in dataverse which multiplies price and amount.

Is there any possibility to show that calculation directly on the power page? Currently the field is displaying nothing at it is no yet stored in dataverse.

Thanks for your help.

    Hey @Lucas001

Yes it is possible. I have tested it, and it works fine. Below is the screenshot

With the new PowerFx Formula column

    In Make.powerapps.com

    1. Choose the right table( shopping)

    2. Add a column called "Total" and the type as Formula

    3. Hit Save and Publish

    In Power Pages

    1. Create a page with List ( Shopping List)

    2. When you add a new record > by default > The total will be read-only. meaning the formula is applied

    Output:

    Hope it helps.

    Hi @ragavanrajan,

thanks for the explanation. Unfortunately I still faced the issue as the prices are not coming form the table itself but are referenced from other table. It seems that in some occurrences the table formula column is "slower" than my flow and I get a null value. The workaround I had is to get the referenced price in a formula column with a lookup lie Table.Field and reference that field inside my flow.

    Thanks for you help.
