Out of the box, is it possible to have an attachment control on a page form without creating a new record first?
I added a new page to my site
Added a new form
The form has 3 text fields and an attachment
When I browse to the new page, the attachment control is not visible.
No, file/image control only will be enabled after creation of record.
It can be either image, notes or just an attachment.
It is to simplify the process and have visibility of attachment as a control. Previously, for attachment we have to enable notes in metadata level and including timeline section inside form for model driven app.
Like in case for portal to have entity form metadata and entity permission needs to be enabled. Ufff lot of work.
But functionality remains same, notes/attachment cannot be enabled before creation of the record.
