I'm experiencing strange behavoir with the "when an exiting item is modified" trigger for SharePoint and sending emails. I will try to explain...
I created a list with two flows, one to run on create and send an email, and the other to run on edit and send an email. I then created 3 list items and modified each one in turn and monitored the emails received.
Item #1 created at 13:01. Create email received for #1 at 13:01.
Item #2 created at 13:04. Modify email received for #1 at 13:04. Create email received for #2 at 13:04.
Item #3 created at 13:09. Modify email received for #2 at 13:09. Create email received for #3 at 13:09.
Item #2 edited at 13:11. Modify email received for #3 at 13:11.
Item #1 edited at 13:13. Modify email received for #2 at 13:13.
Item #3 edited at 13:21. No modify email received yet although Flow is showing it has successfully run?
It's appears that the email only appears in my inbox when subsequent Flow is triggered? Has anyone else experienced this?
I've been having various problems with the reliability of the modify trigger and don't know if all of this is part of a wider issue? See below
