I'm migrating portal configuration from dev to prod where a production portal already exists, and I'm pushing new settings from dev. I don't want to overwrite existing settings values in prod with the values exported from dev e.g. BI Report/ Group Ids
I'm using the DataMigrationUtility.exe tool
Is it possible to migrate particular settings rather than all the settings in the Site Settings entity. I can see the data in the data.xml file in the SiteSettings data.zip file which was exported. Do I have to edit the data.xml file or is there a way to selectively export only certain Site Settings? I also want to do the same for Web Roles.
