hi friends,

Is it possible to let the user input value to the datacard and let it look up a value from the power bi dataset or dataflow?

for example: user put the value "ABC" in Datacard and lets programs return value "Yes", if user put "DEF" its return "NO".

example of power bi dataset/dataflow

NameResult
ABCYES
DEFNO

    Hi , @Anonymous

This is my test data in Power BI dataset:

According to your description, you want to lookup the result in dataset. You can use this code:

    LookUp('PowerBIIntegration'.Data, Name=TextInput1.Text).Result
     LookUp('PowerBIIntegration'.Data, Name=ControlName.Text).Result
    The result is as follows:

And you need to configure your Form -datasource /item property in your side.

    Hi , @Anonymous

We can not add the special dataset to Power Apps, we can just put the field we need to this visual in Power BI.

If you want to add another datasource , you need to add it in Power App:

    Hi , @Anonymous

First , you need to check if your column Name is right in your side , you can use your mouse hover on the code:

And you need to use the TextInput1.Text

And also you can re-create the Power App visual in Power BI and re-put the fields you need to pass to the Power app.
