PowerApps Form for list is view only in Teams but editable in SP

I built a PowerApps form for a List created in Teams, to be used instead of the default form template. When I launch the form by clicking on an item in the list in Teams, it is view only and the content cannot be edited (and there is no edit option at the top of the form). But it is editable when launched from same item in the same list in SP itself. How can I get the PowerApps form to allow editing when launched from the List in Teams?

Based on the issue that you mentioned, do you want to edit the PowerApps form in the Teams?
Could you please share a bit more about the scenario, how you configure your form in the Teams?
I have a test on my side, please take a try as below.
>> Connect the SP list to my App
>> Set the form by default.
>> Publish the app to Teams.
>> Click the pencil icon to edit.

Thanks, sorry I'm not quite sure how to apply the advice. I am trying to edit a list from within Teams using a Power App form I created. The list was already created as a tab in my general channel. Then I opened it in SP, and created the Power App form, saved and published it. Then I chose the new form as the preferred form in the List Settings, Forms. In SP, all works like a charm, but back in Teams, the new form appears but just can be edited (see attachment) What step am I missing to make it editable from within the list in Teams when you click on an item and the new form appears?

Could you please check the following screenshot and try to click the "Edit in the grid view"?
Please focus on the yellow part.

Thanks - Edit in the grid view works, but people expect the form to be editable as well. Can you not edit Powerapps forms in Teams?

Are you sure that you want to not edit the PowerApps form in Teams?
However you want to edit the PowerApps form in Teams as you described at beginning.
If you expect the form to be editable in Teams, could you please check the first solution I replied before?
Besides, if you want to pop up a new form when you click a item within the form in Teams app, I don't think the current function PowerApps provided in Teams could achieve your needs.
Let me make it easy for you, the PowerApps form in Teams is designed by default, it could not pop up a new form when you want to edit a certain item. Select the item you want to edit from the Gallery and click the pencil edit icon to make the form editable, then you can edit in the PowerApps form where will never pop up a new form as it does in the SP list.

Hi!
I did found a workaround for this.
If you insted of showing your list in a tab for LIST or Sharepoint use the "Web"-tab your FORM (Power App) is editable in the same way as it is in SP.

Work around not working for me, still clicking on Edit button and nothing is happening!
