PowerApps Form - Updating Sharepoint Column

I am building a form in Powerapps from a SharePoint list.  I updated a date column in SharePoint.  Originally the column was date/time.  I changed the settings to just date.

I placed the form in edit mode and then refreshed the data connection to SharePoint.  The issue is the date data card will not update.  The time is still showing.

If I update the cards, then all of the formulas I put for each card will disappear.

How do I get the changes I made in SharePoint update in PowerApps without having to update the cards?

Could you remove and re-add just that one data card to the form?

If not, have you tried just removing the time controls from the card and saving?

I did try to remove the data card and then add it again......no luck.

When I tried to remove the time part of the data card, the red error warning popped up next to the data card.

    Hi @chhamilton34,

Could you please tell me that how you refer to the Date value in other data cards?

Based on the issue that you mentioned, do you want to update the date without time?

Actually, you can't have both fish and bear's paw. It is an known issue that the data card will keep the time picker even though you change the settings into date only.

As an alternative solution, you could format your date and time formula as below:

    Text(DateValue2.SelectedDate + Time(Value(HourValue2.Selected.Value), Value(MinuteValue2.Selected.Value), 0),DateTimeFormat.ShortDate)

After this, your date and time will be formatted as a date value.

Check if this could help you.

    Regards,

    Qi

Was it an error saying you couldn't submit, or was it just because there were positioning formulas relying on it?

IF you create a new form, does it still require he time?

Can you replace the default date/time controls with a date picker? You would have to fix up the positioning formulas that would likely break, and the update formula to reference the new date control. I'd see if the new form works first though.
