Power Platform Community Forum Thread Details

Working in a custom model driven app for project management.

I have 3 tables: Project, Task, Budget Entry. They each have a 1:N relationship to the next level down. When in the task form and the user adds a new budget entry from the sub-grid, it auto fills the related task which is great. How can I get the related project of the task to also be filled when adding a new record?

From what I've researched so far, the only solution seems to involve JavaScript, which I'm not super familiar with and am hoping for a simpler solution.
