Pull Date Row from Excel to Collection for Patching to SPList

Hello Everyone,

I've searched around but can't seem to get this right.

I currently have a excel document in SharePoint with a table setup of some basic info, including a few date columns. I pull the table in PowerApps and autobuild a collection: Collect(OverdueDocumentList, table1). The columns with dates themselves are formatted as General but if you click on the cells, they are formatted as Date. None of the dates come across into the collection in this way. The same thing happens even if I format the date columns themselves to Date.

The only way it comes across is if I change those columns to Text which changes the date to the numerical format (I forget the term). I tried a few different conversion methods in PowerApps but still does not seam to take and just converts the numerical date format and throws slashes between the numbers.

The plan is to constantly copy and paste rows from a daily report into this SharePoint excel file so I am trying to avoid doing any formatting in excel every single day I paste new info.

    Hi @Anonymous ,

I did not encounter the problem.

Could you provide the minimal, reproducible example?

    Best Regards,

I wonder if this is because I originally get the data as a CSV file at first and then copy/paste the rows to the xsls file but I tried creating the xsls from scratch and manually enter data in without a copy/paste and get the same results.

I'm assuming you are also using the excel onedrive connector?
