Today, AI Builder has a 30-day free trial that can be extended indefinitely. However, it's not clear if AI models created during one trial get transferred to the next -- "You can't create or modify AI Builder models, and no new inference will be possible when the trial expires if you don't purchase a license". Additionally, we want students to be able to export their models and use them in production environments during hackathons.

Recommendations:

For student licensing, could a longer trial period be accommodated to reduce churn? On the licensing page (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/ai-builder/administer-licensing) it's actually not clear that you can extend your trial indefinitely.
Could we add a license to the existing M365 Developer Account that we encourage students to sign up with? (sign in steps: https://aka.ms/AIcloset1) In the new pay-as-you-go plan, would it be possible to add credits, similar to the way we add Azure credits to student accounts?
