Post Message in MS Teams if condition in Excel = true

Hi,

My goal:

- Post Message in MS Teams if condition in Excel = true

- the condition itself (filter)  does'nt matter now, i just want to make it work with any condition.

This is my excel online file:

wshalex123_0-1666164162925.png

- Its a list of employees with their birthdays and day of employment.

- It's an "excel table"

This is my flow:

wshalex123_1-1666164257690.png

I tried out this flow a hundred times and i tried every possibility (different data type formats in excel, different filters, ...) and it just doesnt work.

I made a try with a second test flow and excel file and there it worked:

Its nearly 1:1 the same flow.

So in my opinion the problem has to be in the excel file.

But where?! In my opinion, the column "Kürzel" has to work with the first flow i posted:

Can someone help me? I already wasted hours for this small flow to find the problem...

wshalex123_0-1666167036786.png ... when testing the flow, the teams action is grey.

    Hi @wshalex123,

    I am unable to reproduce it. A Filter Query on ID eq '1' works ok in my setup.

    However, it could be useful to test your Excel without a filter. This way you can see what the format is of the ID and Kürzel fields.

    Is there any chance you can test that? (maybe you need to remove that post a message in a chat or channel action before you test that 😉)

    @Expiscornovus

    OK i tried it out with the "Kürzel" Spalte, which hasn't any formula in it. It works there.

    After trying it with the "CheckBDY Column" (which also gots a formula in it) it also works....

    I don't know whats happening here but its kinda strange haha

    Hi @wshalex123,

    Have you tried it as a number instead of text?

    Try ID eq 1 instead of ID eq '1'

    Re: Post Message in MS Teams if condition in Excel = true

    @Expiscornovus  its a problem with the filter query:

    value = empty here

    wshalex123_1-1666208001404.png

    wshalex123_2-1666208023881.png

    but why? There is a ID 1

    Re: Post Message in MS Teams if condition in Excel = true

    Ok i now made a final test:

    1 = orginal excel file

    2 = test excel file

    -> The first 3 columns are 1:1 the same! So i built two ident flows with just the file (and Table name) being different. Filter is always based on the same (ident!) columns!

    1:

    wshalex123_2-1666180983478.png

    2:

    wshalex123_0-1666180870482.png

    Result 1:

    Result 2:

    ?

    Re: Post Message in MS Teams if condition in Excel = true

    Hi @Expiscornovus

    Tabelle 1 has been deleted. I dublicated the data to remove all formats, in order to sort out possible errors. So there only one sheet with 1 table "Tabelle3"

    Here's the file:

    Hi @wshalex123,

    Thanks for double checking.

    To clarify, you have two different tables (Tabelle1 & Tabelle3) in the same workbook (Test.xlsx)? Are they in different worksheets?
