Dynamic Selector - ui selector

Hello,

I'm trying to populate a textbox in a webform but the ui element is dynamic. I've been trying to find another attribute to use besides the id without luck, as the class name is the same as the other textboxes.
The only progress so far is I managed to populate all the textboxes which id ends with "ee".

It would very usefull to be able to use the xpath to locate the elements in cases like this.
this is the html and the xpath

code of the textbox

<input class="cursorinherit stringcontrol-edit theme-cont-u1-font-size
theme-cont-u1-font-stack theme-cont-u1-color-2 theme-cont-h1-bdrcolor--hover theme-cont-s1-bdrcolor--focus
theme-cont-s1-outlinecolor--focus" type="text" spellcheck="false" maxlength="20"
id="882Cee" aria-labelledby="882Cee_lbl"
 title="(Alt+Abajo) Valor de búsqueda" tabindex="0" autocomplete="off">
/html/body/div[1]/div[2]/form/div[4]/div[1]/div[3]/div/div[1]/div[2]/div/div[2]/div/input[1]

Thanks

    Hi there,

    I got stuck with the html and the Xpath in PAD in the past, I could not figure out why it didn't work. So, I must find another workaround that I can continue with my process.

    I used the Action: Send keys which I will send a lot of Tab key to find the correct field, then I also used the Send Keys to populate the field with the text that I want.

    I'm not sure it can help you or not. But you can have another thought.

    Regards,

    Mike

    sending keys doesnt work for me in this case.

    I managed to insert text using the web recorder and it worked perfectly.

    The only thing i dont really understand is why it doesnt work the other way when you manually do the steps as it uses the same control "Populate text field on web page"
