Hello Team,

I am working on extracting the data from an open API (app.livestorm.co) to an excel daily.

Issue:- When the next run is happening its extracting the complete data and inserting into excel. But my requirement is i want only unique data to get into the excel.

Worked till now:- Extracted the data and then updated the excel.

Flow:-

I am stuck with which condition I should use so that in next trigger i get only the unique data.

I request you to please help me out.

@takolota, Can you please advice me.

Thank you,

Ruchika

    Hi @Ruchika01 ,

You will need a List rows present in a table action and filter query set to a column with unique values equal to the outputs of Api. Then use a Condition control to check

    length(outputs(List_rows_present_in_a_table)?['body/value']) is equal to 0

if true, add a new row, if false, do nothing since item is already in the table.

    Best regards,

    @Ruchika01

If you only have a couple hundred items or less, then @v-jefferni’s suggestion is probably the simplest to implement.

If you need more efficiency or speed, then you can also use a Select after the list rows, switch the Select Map input to the single input box & use something like

item()?[‘InsertPrimaryKeyColumnName’] to get an array of just the key column values. Then in the Filter array you can set the From to your API outputs and the condition to

if Select Outputs does not contain Key Value From API Outputs

That will return the JSON of just the new unique values & you can use a Parse JSON or manually reference the outputs of the Filter array from there.
