Hi so this is my first time using SharePoint and so I'm having a hard time trying to figure out how to resolve this issue I am facing. So as shown in the image I have a Job record table, that can have multiple candidates assigned to a job record. I want to be able to see a gallery of the candidates that have been assigned to a specific job record when I select a specific record within the job record gallery. Is that possible?
@ArT1
It sounds like you are describing two many to one relationships. Clients can have many jobs and jobs can have many applicants. Optimally, you should have 3 lists. See my blog post here for how to design your lists Relational Database Principles and PowerApps - Step 3 Keys and Relationships and the one following it on how to implement the relationships.
Am I right in thinking then I should create a junction table between the job and candidate table then implement the solution using the method Shane Young demonstrated in his YouTube video? I can see the idea forming in my head but I find discussing it makes it more clearer for me to understand. So sorry if this is basic information that you’re having to repeat for my sake.
Resolved using the following blog to help me with my gallery filtering https://powerapps.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/option-sets-and-many-to-many-relationships-for-canvas-apps/
