Converting a Text Variable to Date

Hi 

I have a variable that is in the format "Rundate=20230418", this Variable is called RUNDATE I wish to take the last 8 digits and put into another variable as a date format, variable called RUNDATE2. That will then go into a sharepoint list. How do I do this please?

    See my example below.  You can use the output from the last Compose action (Date for SP) as the input for a SharePoint date column
