Auto populating

I have a list created but I am trying to get list to auto populate once a task is completed. So I have the following:

I want it to create a new Item once I have changed the status to completed so I do not have to create a new Item every time. What would I have to do in order to get it to do what I want?

    Hi @l0w04m2

    Need some more information.

How are you setting the status? How do we know what to populate the new item with?

    But here are the steps

    1. Create a new automated flow

    2. Select When an Item is Updated SharePoint action

    3. Right after the trigger (#2), you want to verify if the status of the triggered item is set to Complete

so you would add a Condition Action

    4. On the left side you would put the Dynamic Property from the Trigger, that points to that Column. Just click in the left box and the Dynamic Properties can't be missed

    5. set the middle to equal to

    6. Set the right to the proper formated Completed status. What I mean is... If its an Option Field, or a Text etc

So if its just Text or OptionField you should be able to just put Completed

    7. In the Yes side of the Condition Check, you would add actions here to add a new Item to the List

-Add a Create Item SharePoint Action

-Configure it with whatever you want

    Done.

If I have helped you, I would really appreciate if you please Mark my answer as Resolved/Answered, and give it a thumbs up, so it can help others

    Cheers
