Total newbie to PAD. Can anyone guide me to a tutorial that would help me. I'm looking to generalize selecting windows. Let me explain. We do PC setups using connectwise. I just started at this job and that is just how it is done. I would love to use the PA recorder. Issue is it wants to go to that exact instance of Connectwise. Example "Computer 1 - ScreenConnect" I record all is well. Then I start working on "Computer 2 - ScreenConnect" and the recorded steps I created don't work because the window isn't named "Computer 1 - ScreenConnect" is there a way to just make them work as long as it's a connetwise window? I used image clicks and such but it would be so much easier if I could just record.

Navigate to UI elements and find the Window parent element that was created for the Connectwise elements. Double click to open and edit it.

It might look something like this:
Then edit the Name to EndsWith "ScreenConnect"
Then it doesnt try to find the Computer + dynamic number but just the ScreenConnect. And it should still be specific enough to not mix it with any other window than with the Connectwise since you most likely wont have any other window open that ends with "ScreenConnect" name.
If that doesn't work share the Window element and maybe I can assist you further.

You forgot to change the Operator to "Contains"
Now its trying to find a screen thats name is euqal to "ScreenConnect" and there isn't one. It should try to find one thats name contains "ScreenConnect"
