Right click menu not appearing on published app in Teams

Hello, I have an app that has been published and added as a tab in Teams. Recently I was made aware when some individuals right click in a comment box to paste from their clipboard, the right click menu does not appear for them. They are using the Teams application and I've tried testing this on my end but it seems to work fine. Has anyone run in to this issue?

I have proposed using Ctrl+V as a workaround but, you know how people are sometimes 😋

The browser addons shouldn't be an issue since they are not using Teams via the web. They are using Teams application instead. I will start by making sure everyone has their Teams updated and report back in case this issue pops up for anyone else.

    Thank you!

    Hi @ddawgnd89 ,

It seems like some users are experiencing an issue where the right-click menu isn't appearing in a comment box in your Power Apps app when accessed through Teams. Here are some steps to troubleshoot and potentially resolve this issue:

    1. Check App Version and Updates: Ensure that all users are using the latest version of the Teams app. Outdated versions may cause compatibility issues.

    2. Browser vs. Desktop App: Verify if this issue occurs in both the Teams desktop app and the web browser version. Sometimes, functionalities differ between these platforms.

    3. Permissions and Settings: Confirm that all users have the necessary permissions and settings within Teams to use the app's features fully.

    4. User-Specific Issue: Since it works on your end, determine if the issue is user-specific. Ask affected users to try on a different device or account to isolate the problem.

    5. Feedback to Microsoft: If the issue persists, consider providing feedback to Microsoft via Teams or the Power Apps community forum, as this might be a bug needing their attention.

    6. Alternative Methods: As a temporary workaround, users can use keyboard shortcuts (Ctrl+C for copy, Ctrl+V for paste) if the right-click menu isn’t functioning.

If the issue is widespread and not resolved with these steps, it may be beneficial to reach out to Microsoft support for more specific assistance.

    Best Regards,
    Hassan Raza

Both users do have the latest version of classic teams.

You have Microsoft Teams Version 1.6.00.30666 (64-bit). It was last updated on 11/2/2023.

What can I check within the app with regards to permissions to see if that is not the issue?
