No Hover hand when hover over a shape

I want to use a shape (circle) in a diagram in a canvas app and allow the user to click on the shape to trigger the OnSelect.  This works, however there is no Hover hand over the shape (there is the hover hand over icons).

 

Is there a setting to enable that the hand is displayed when the mouse hovers over a shape, so that the user knows they can click on this item

    Put an icon over the top of the shape and make both the Color and Fill of the icon Transparent and the OnSelect Select(YourCircleName)
