Press button in window doesn't work in the newer version of Power Automate Desktop after Sept 22

Hi, want to know if anybody experiencing the same issue as mine.

"Press button in window" in UI Automation doesn't work for my desktop flow after the version 2.24.179.22266, which is Sept 2022 update.

The desktop flow under the trouble has worked fine without any problem under the previous version, but now it throws error because PAD cannot find the UI element anymore!

This error happens in some UI element, not all.

Meaning this "press button in window action" still works okay for some other UI element, though I couldn't figure out the difference.

For the time being I've replaced the action with the send key but it's quite annoying...
Wish to know this is only happening to me. Thanks!

Can you please update the software once again ? it used to happen while we update the software

Did you try recapturing the element?

Recapture and compare he selectors, it's likely the application has changed somehow on the back end. Maybe an update?

Hi there, thanks for your suggestion. Updated the software again, but unfortunately no use.

Recapturing the selector doesn't help either, because there's no change in the selector compared with the previous time.
It's not because of the change in application side as it's very old legacy system and no backend change.

I guess there should be something wrong with the newer version of PAD.
Strange thing I noticed is that the mouse cursor goes to the button, so it definitely recognized the element,
but it never "Press" the button. Again, it all worked fine before I installed 2.24.179.22266. Thanks!

I changed the action from Press Button in window to Click UI element in window; still no use.
Then I changed the action's click type to Double Click, then it works!

So it's kind of strange but I have to conclude as follows:

Press button in window action will not work for some UI element anymore, nor Click ui element with click type "left click" under the newer version of PAD (I'm 2.25.59.22280), although it works fine if you click manually, and it also worked fine under the previous version.

You may want to try changing the action to Click UI element with click type Double click,
then without recapturing UI element, it starts working again.

This is bit frustrating, but I have to accept for now... Hope this helps someone in the same situation, thanks!
