PowerApp cannot write to Excel file with data

Hello,

 

I have an app published inside a Power BI service report.

When I try to submit a form, I get the error:

It seems that it isn't capable of writing to the Excel file that stores the data of this app.

However, that file is in my OneDrive for business shared with anyone with the link.

 

Can anyone help?

    Hi @WebPortal ,

     

    Have you shared the App with the users of report? Not only data source, but also App need to be shared with users.

    Note: You can only share the app with users in the same organization.

     

    Also please ensure that "Allow editing" permission of Excel is also shared with users.

    The app was shared, but it turned out the Excel share was not allowing edition 🙂
