Why AddColumns in Gallery breaks EditForm's Item?

I have a 3 screens app with a Gallery Screen and EditForm Screen.

If I add AddColumns function in Gallery's Items, it breaks EditForm's Item ("Not compatible with DataSource...anymore").

It's challenging since I really need to use AddColumns for the Gallery because I have to retrieve a ProductName from another table with Lookup, and then sort the Gallery with ProductName.

Hi @Finnair ,

By using AddColumns you create a sort of virtual table which does not match the schema of the Form's datasource anymore, hence the error.

You can easily overcome this issue by using a LookUp function in the Form's Item property.

But the problem in Form's Item is that it has to be form "GalleryX.Selected" since it has to show an item selected in a Gallery.

In Gallery's items I can add ProductName with a label succesfully (with Lookup), but sorting by this factor seems to be impossible.

I think I was able to create formula for Form's Item when I use ID as combining factor:

LookUp(MY_MAIN_SQL_TABLE ; ID = GalleryX.Selected.ID)
