I am using power desktop in my office to automate tasks on Oracle ebs forms. Initially it was browser based but it is opening separately. Two months back PAD flows stopped working and when try to create new flow ui element picker selects complete screen in red. I installed latest version of java and done a lot of troubleshooting but issue not resolved.
Is the browser reopening each time?
I suggest utilizing recorder options. Although occasionally the entire window may be highlighted in red instead of a specific element, it usually captures the correct element during recording. After recording, try playing back the recorder option to verify if it functions correctly.
Alternatively, you can employ send key, mouse move, and image-based automation for the same task.
