If function syntax visibility in a dropdown

Hello!

I just realized that I have created a small problem for myself. I have created a list in Sharepoint that is feeding into my Powerapp as a dropdown. The problem is that when that item is completed, it's adding to the list that then feeds into the dropdown. I know that IF should help me in this situation but I'm struggling with what the syntax would look like.

Here's what I have so far: 'Required Training for All Staff'; If('Submitted: Is it done? '= "True",

I'm stuck because I know that I don't want it on my list if it's true, but I don't know how to word it.

Thanks!

    Hi @Anonymous

If('Submitted: Is it done? '.Value = "True",

'Submitted: Is it done? '.Value will give you the value in your dropdown

    Regards,

    Reza Dorrani

    Hi @Anonymous

you are trying to se the items property of dropdown (your screenshot)

    Items requires a collection

You need to set your logic on the Visible property of the dropdonw

Ok, so could you break it down for me?

I still want the dropdown to be visible. I just don't want the contents inside the dropdown to be visible if it has already been submitted according to the toggle control. As soon as I started putting in the If( into visible the whole dropdown disappeared.

    Hi @Anonymous

Not sure whay would you want the contents to not be visisble

But, there is also a Mode property for dropdown

you can add if condition to set the mode based on your toggle condition

set mode to disabled if toggle logic is met

The reason I don't want the contents visible is because when that item is completed, it's adding to the list that then feeds into the dropdown. So then it shows duplicated in the dropdown but it's not. One has been completed and one hasn't.

    Hi @Anonymous

So seems like you have unlocked the title data card and added a dropdown in there

Where is the items property of the dropdown  ? share screeenshot

Also, looks like you have deleted the standard datacardvalue that comes with the title card- plz confirm

    Alos, plz try explaining again

when toggle is Yes - what should happen

when toggle is No - what should happen

    @RezaDorrani

The dropdown is connected to the Sharepoint list that was shown in a previous post. I'll attach the picture again.

When the toggle is yes, then that just means a staff member completed the training. No, means they haven't.

If the toggle is yes, I do not want it to show up in the dropdown.
