accountid column not showing up in form

hi all,

i have both out of the box tables added to my solution, 'Account' and 'Contacts'

In the contacts table, i have added the 'accountid' column which is supposed to be a lookup to associate the contact with an account and i can see it in the list of columns but when i create a form and try and add it, i cant find it?! its not hidden, even when i uncheck show only used columns, it still doesn't appear! - any ideas?

I would just advise not using lookup columns at all costs. This is one of the most important commandments in Power Apps IMO. Complex columns make for hard to develop apps. I use SP generated ID numbers and manually 'link' all the lists together so that I know I can get to the data I need to from the app without having to jump through all the hoops involved in things like complex column types or spaces in column names etc.
