Connection not configured for this service - Managed solution error

Hi Folks,

I have imported a solution as managed in a QA environment. It has some canvas apps and close to 100 power automate flows. When I test the app in play mode, none of the flows seems to be working (although I have access to all). I receive the error "Connection not configured for this service". We're not able to edit the app to re-add the flows, which is expected as it's a managed solution. We do not have any duplicate connection references and all environment variables were updated during import.

I read in below post that updating security role might solve the issue:
https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/Using-Connectors/connection-not-configured-for-this-service/td-p/891993

But we have the same configuration in our dev environment and there it works without any issue. I do not have permission to update it anyway 😕 . Please share if you have any suggestions or enlighten me why updating security role will work, so that I can get the necessary permission to update it.

Thank you.

    Hi @rbn_nue,

In your dev environment you likely have elevated privileges such as through the System Customizer or System Administrator role.

Flows are stored as records in Dataverse in the Process table. Read privilege on the Process table is required to execute flows.

    Hi @ChrisPiasecki ,

Thank you for your response. I had managed to get the needed access and enabled read access on process table for the whole organization. We're still getting the same error from the app. Please let me know if there's anything else I could try.

    Thank you.

    Hi @rbn_nue,

Can you confirm that all the relevant connection references are set up with appropriate connections from the target environment and are working?

    Hi @ChrisPiasecki ,

Yes, all connection references and environment variables were verified. The only difference is the account used. In QA, we used a different account for all connection references.

    Hi,

I had to re-add all flows in dev app before I export to fix the issue (hopefully, this is a one time thing). With new power automate pane, I can refresh flows if needed.

    Thank you.
