Drop Down input not appearing in PowerApps in Teams builder.

Hi All,

I need a dropdown box, not a combo box, but it's not there to use from the inputs?

Is this a bug, or intended? I'm filtering from another combobox, and need the results from another field to show. Combobox does not work for this. List box kind of works, but doesn't look right.

You should be able to use the combo box just like a drop down. It sounds like you want to filter the the results shown in the combo box based on what was selected in another combo box and you should be able to that the same way you would do it with a drop down.

Hi Jeff,

Thank you for your reply. I have replicated the formula that I've successfully used with a SP List as a datasource. Using a similar setup with Dataverse tables, it doesn't seem to work with Combobox.

Here is my formula. I should see a list of two options in the highlighted dropdown. There is the expected delegation error, but I've read that I can ignore this.

But if I try without the Text() property, I get the following:

Data type for the Site Name is Options and data type for the Area is Text.

Doesn't matter, I needed the Text property on the other Combobox as well!

Filter(Sites,Text('Site Name') = Text(DataCardValue1.Selected.Value))

I had the same issue and took me a while to get a solution. Here is the solution:
Got to settings and switch on the classic controls
Then use the dropdown from the classic controls.

This should work fine.
